Andy Spinks

Andy Spinks has been working for Pfizer for over 10 years starting in the UK managing the implementation of Content Management Systems and Global Publishing Solutions (GPS).  He quickly jumped into leadership roles in areas such as Therapeutic Area Scientific Information Services and Advanced Deskside Service Team.  Currently Andy holds the title of Director, Development Business Technology in La Jolla where he inspires and motivates a team of employees who partner and support Business Units, Development Platform Lines and Functional Support lines. 

Andy is a Leadership Team member for Pfizer’s Business Technology Development Leadership Team working on global strategies and informatics site direction.  Andy joined the Board of Directors at LSIT in January 2009 where he contributes innovative ideas, methods and strategy to LSIT’s overarching mission.  He supports his team by supporting their time to the development of Good Informatics Practices (GIP) as a career development benefit for his staff and an opportunity to innovate and exchange ideas amongst LSIT volunteers and subject matter experts.
