Barbara Nollau

Ms. Nollau is presently Director of Supplier & Alliances Quality for Abbott’s Vascular Division. She is responsible for the quality and compliance of Abbott Vascular Suppliers, Business Alliances, and Contract Manufacturers world-wide.

Ms. Nollau has 27 years of experience and increasing responsibility in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, spanning the areas of production, quality assurance/ compliance, and information services/information technology. She holds a BA in communications from Cabrini College, and has completed graduate work in the areas of adult learning/instructional design and pharmaceutical engineering at Penn State University and California State University, respectively.

Ms. Nollau is an ASQ-certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, and is a member of ISPE.  She is a long-standing member of the GAMP Americas Steering Committee and previously served as a Commissioner on the ISPE Professional Certification Commission. She is a member of the Technology Advisory Board for LSIT, and of the Editorial Review Board of The Journal of Validation Technology and the Journal of GXP Compliance, and has published numerous papers and presented extensively on validation, 21 CFR Part 11, outsourcing, and related topics.
