Geoff has worked for Novartis for 7 years. He joined the Pharmaceutical division just after the Ciba/Sandoz merger in 1997 with responsibility for the servers, networks & desktop computing environments. In 2001 he was tasked with supporting the U.S. Marketing & Sales systems, supporting 6500 representatives. In 2002 he moved over to the Research technology organization, in a dual role of integrating the 3 Novartis Corporate Research sites with the new Research organization (NIBR), while also having accountability for the emerging collaborative technology portfolio for Research.
Prior to working for Novartis, Geoff worked in roles of increasing responsibility at in the Financial services industry at Bankers Trust & Wasserstein Perella. Prior to this he worked at Pfizer & American Home Products.
Geoff graduated with a Bachelors degree in Applied Zoology from the University of Wales in 1978.
