Greg Caressi

Mr. Caressi is Senior Vice President of the Healthcare & Life Sciences group at Frost & Sullivan, serving as the business unit leader for North American and Latin American operations. In this role, Mr. Caressi oversees research teams covering the following technology areas:

• Healthcare & Life Sciences Information Technology
• Medical Imaging
• Patient Monitoring
• Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology
• Medical Devices
• Drug Discovery Technologies
• Clinical Diagnostics

In his ten years at Frost & Sullivan, Mr. Caressi has served in executive management roles covering the range of professional services under the Frost & Sullivan umbrella: subscription services, consulting projects, and sales and business development teams. Additionally, Mr. Caressi has directed Frost & Sullivan's overall business expansion into Latin America.

Mr. Caressi has been involved in the management of hundreds of deliverables, covering both consulting projects and subscription services in his roles as a research director and business development executive. In addition to authoring numerous reports in his areas of focus, Mr. Caressi has been involved in a wide range of strategic consulting projects. He has advised clients on market trends, implications, and strategies on such diverse topics as next-generation technologies, end user and product/feature/pricing analysis, merger and acquisition target analysis, international market expansion strategies, detailed demand modeling, and competitive analysis.

Mr. Caressi has been an instrumental part of the development of Frost & Sullivan's research team expansion into Latin America and China, and has worked extensively on projects involving international teams of analysts, for clients from both developed and developing country markets.

Prior to joining Frost and Sullivan, Mr. Caressi worked in the fields of economics, marketing, and export promotion in the U.S. and China, specializing in the economies of developing nations and research in emerging markets. In addition, Mr. Caressi has worked as an educator for 18 years, most recently as an instructor of Corporate Finance, International Finance, and Business Intelligence at Dominican University in San Rafael, California.

Mr. Caressi has served as chairman and speaker at a number of industry conferences in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America, with a special focus on emerging applications of new technologies and developing countries. In addition, Mr. Caressi has served as a trainer at Frost & Sullivan events in the U.S., Asia and Latin America in the areas of Market Analysis and Business Intelligence.

Mr. Caressi holds a Master of Business Administration, Pacific Basin Studies from Dominican University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University.
