John Kim

John Kim is a Project Manager within Pfizer Research Informatics at the San Diego site. His focus is providing value added informatics solutions to the drug discovery process across the Biology and Chemistry disciplines.
John has over 10 years experience in providing Project Management, Business Analysis and Computer System Validation services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. John has been working with Pfizer for over 5 years supporting Pfizer Global Research and Development in delivering small to enterprise scale informatics solutions.
Prior to working with Pfizer, John held IT management positions at Copper Mountain Networks and Dura Pharmaceuticals in supporting Regulatory, QA, Laboratory, ERP, CRM and Engineering systems.
Prior to his work in IT, he also worked at Advanced Tissue Sciences as a bio-process engineer in developing bio-reactors and optimizing large scale manufacturing processes for their lead artificial skin product.
John received his B.S. degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
