John McNeil

John McNeil is the President of John McNeil & Company, Inc., an engineering consulting company that offers the LabSynch collaborative web application for experiment recording, analysis, and discussion. John McNeil & Company assist biotechnology customers accelerate or enable novel science by creating, adapting, and integrating software, instruments, and automation. Previously Mr. McNeil founded the bioinformatics department at Isis Pharmaceuticals Inc. before leading company-wide IT. As V.P. of Informatics and a corporate officer of Isis, Mr. McNeil was responsible for strategy and implementation of infrastructure, support, and software including G&A functions, clinical, manufacturing, and research. Prior to that Mr. McNeil founded the Laboratory Sensors and Automation Division of SAIC. Mr. McNeil earned a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College.
