Kyle Brown

Kyle Brown is founder and CEO of Innolyst providing web-based collaboration and management applications to the not-for-profit research market. Their public website ResearchCrossroads provides a comprehensive view of government, academic and non-profit funded research to spur collaboration and data sharing among academia, foundations, government and industry.

In addition to the ResearchCrossroads website, Innolyst provides strategic IT consulting and development services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including: Eli Lilly, Merck, Novartis, Incyte, Entelos and Theravance.

Prior to founding Innolyst, Kyle founded Ignite, a web-based collaboration application used for file and content sharing by FederalExpress, NIKE, and SiliconGraphics. Prior to Ignite, Kyle was Principal IT director for Sun Microsystems responsible for global reporting and channel applications.

Non profit disease research and government institutions are funding hundreds of millions of dollars of research yet there is no method of sharing this research across organizations or to make it easily available to patients. Innolyst's mission is to make the world of public research transparent. Disease research organizations can collaborate and discover faster than ever by sharing findings with other researchers with similar interests. Patients can share their experiences and learn from others. By working together, foundations can learn from each other, form partnerships and cooperate on projects. Research dollars are valuable, there is no reason for duplicating efforts. By sharing information we all benefit.
