About the Industry Advisory Board (IAB)
The primary goal of the IAB is to provide advisory input to the Board of Directors (BOD) and working committees. The focus of the IAB will be on development of areas of strategic importance to the LSIT mission and to periodically provide overviews on topics where its members have expertise, and to address specific strategy questions as they arise in the course of business.
The LSIT Industry Advisory Board is an adjunct to the board of directors. Members are selected by the BOD Nominating committee based on their distinguished role and experience in industry.
The LSIT IAB brings strategic input to the BOD in the form of understanding of the current industry landscape, vision for trends and future markets and technology, and input on current and planned LSIT activities.
Members are drawn from companies, organization and standards bodies in:
- Life Sciences (drug, medical device, biotech industries)
- Health Sciences (Medical, institutional, pharmacy, regulatory)
- IT Companies (Infrastructure, applications and solutions providers)
- Service providers (Research, Development, Market, Manufacturing, Consultancy groups).
