The IT Spectrum of Life Sciences

IT plays an integral role in every stage of the discovery, development and delivery of medical devices and therapeutics. In developing GIP for each of these areas, LSIT will not be re-creating the wheel. We intend to incorporate into the GIP Guidance Document many of the already existing IT standards, solutions and best practices that have been developed by global guidance organizations as part of their larger bodies of work. We have begun building some of the necessary relationships with groups such as IEEE, GAMP, CDISC and others and will work closely with them to identify those areas applicable for incorporating.
