Volunteering: Next Steps

Now that you are in a working group, here are some good next steps:

• Take some time to go through the Tools section of this site before jumping into the content. This section contains the workflow and tools to be used by the working groups, as defined by the Go Team.
• Check out the map of the GIP, as described by its table of contents to get a sense of the big picture and to see where you fit in.
• Once your responsibilities are clear, the ball is in your court now to develop the content, following the appropriate workflow and development processes. Work with your working group to understand their process of developing content.
• Use your project manager, working group team members and your liason to support and guide your efforts.
